Please note: This cottage is separate from the others in the stunning village of Freshford. Just 5 miles from the centre of Bath and well served by a regular train which will take you to Bath City Centre in just 9 minutes. The Farmhouse is the heart of our sister farm. The cottage provides wonderful self catering accommodation ideal for families, groups of friends or colleagues visiting Bath. The Farmhouse has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms the cottage and sleeps up to 10 people in comfort. This cottage is offered at a reduced rate for groups of 6 using 3 bedrooms (midweek only).
The cottage is approached along a long driveway. Downstairs is a large entrance hall with impressive two staircases, leading to a large well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances and plenty of space for socialising. The kitchen leads to a large conservatory with seating overlooking the large rear garden. The main living room has large comfy sofas, Morso log-burning stove and dining table for 10 people. Plenty of logs for the fire are provided for you. Across the main entrance hallway is a large downstairs bedroom with en-suite shower room, double bed and single bed. Up the first set of stairs is the main bathroom with corner bath, 1 double bedroom and 1 twin room with en-suite shower room. Up the other set of stairs is the fourth bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 single bed and another en-suite shower room.
Outside is a large private lawned garden with patio and seating area which can be accessed through the conservatory. The village has a wonderful pub "The Inn at Freshford" which serves excellent food, plus there is a café with grocery shop, bakery and post office a short walk from the cottage. Opposite the entrance to the Farm is Homewood Park and Spa which is a lovely place to spend a day at an additional charge. Photo of the spa pool can be found below. Excellent walking and cycling can be enjoyed from the doorstep. The Farmhouse is the ideal holiday retreat with the exciting city of Bath on it's doorstep.
